Shikizakura (Four-Season Cherry Blossoms) at Daikō-ji Temple

"Shikizakura, or ""four-season cherry blossoms,"" bloom twice a year — in spring and autumn. At Daikō-ji Temple, about 500 Shikizakura trees have been planted along both banks of the Ochita River and from the hillside observation deck east of the temple down to the parking area. In autumn, the Shikizakura Festival is held, attracting many visitors to enjoy the unique combination of cherry blossoms and autumn leaves."
